FrightFest 2022

In these series of photos, I've tried to capture the late night energy of the FrightFest 2022 community at the Phoenix Theatre bar in Central London. These portraits document the UK’s horror community converging to celebrate a shared passion after the day's screenings. My partner is a dedicated horror fan who attends this festival every year, and these images mark my first time meeting the eclectic group of people who make up this subculture. This collection is a visual toast to the camaraderie found in the dark.
